How to become a BLS Instructor?
Register & Complete the BLS Instructor Essentials Classroom Course
Candidates must set-up their own BLS Instructor-Led Course and complete an Instructor Monitoring within 30 days after the Instructor Essentials classroom course.

The American Heart Association Program Administration heavily enforces a textbook guideline during courses. Every participant is required to have a textbook for an open resource testing policy. The American Heart Association will not let any participant begin any course without a textbook.
