Hello everyone, the Kentucky Health and Safety Company is all about celebrating women this month, and that is because for so long so many people have been unaware that heart attacks and strokes have been the number one cause of death among women for decades. Many women and men alike attribute heart disease and strokes as an older mans disease, but truth be told, unfortunately it effects both sexes equally.
This February will mark the fifteenth anniversary since the national wear red day was first observed. In honor of this important event we wanted to give everyone some advice on how to reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke.
Here at Kentucky Health and Safety we are encouraging all women this month to help battle the risk of heart disease and stroke. We want you to take more time out of your busy lifestyle to go out and exercise. Staying active is one of the most important things you can do that will have an overall positive effect on your health, and unfortunately, exercise is very underrated and underappreciated. When you get home from work today, think about new and fun ways you can increase your activity and get busy. Do it for your health!
